THE VCP
FIREHAWKS FUND

Victory College Prep believes high school graduation is not the finish line for students but just the starting line for lifelong professional and personal success.

However, Indiana’s college matriculation rate is among the lowest third in the United States, and the college-going rate for students from historically marginalized communities, like those served by VCP, is even lower.

Supporters of the VCP Firehawks Fund sustain vital, data-proven programming that is not fully funded by traditional enrollment revenue:

1) Post-secondary matriculation and persistence coaching: support to fund the VCP College Transitions program, alumni collegiate counseling, and 4-Star Scholarship awards that collectively boost access to college and long-term career prospects;

2) K-12 co-taught classroom model: support to meet staffing levels proven to produce successful learning interventions that grow student proficiency through high school and elevate college and career readiness;

3) Firehawks Athletics sports teams: support to keep student-athletes on the court and in the game so they develop the social-emotional skills and strength needed to thrive in college and career.
