Fire Island Theater Festival

The Fire Island Theater Festival (FIT Fest) is a grassroots fundraising initiative for CHANGE Arts. CHANGE Arts aims to make curated arts access limitless for classrooms and communities, emphasizing the unique work of Teaching Artists. 

FIT Fest will feature playreadings about the queer experience, and staged productions about the history and future of Fire Island. Focused on CHANGE's accessibility and cultural matchmaking mission, FIT Fest is about the right audiences (FI Pines and Grove residents, renters, visitors, and new and forever allies) experiencing the right art (plays about the queer experience) at the right time (as queer identities are being increasingly erased and challenged).
