Help "fill the gap" for what it costs PEB to operate schools and what families pay in tuition.

Friends of PEB exists to support the work of the Presbyterian Education Board (PEB) of Pakistan. PEB operates 26 schools in Pakistan with almost 6,000 students, offering quality education to poor children. Here at Friends of PEB, we offer many ways to help these students, including participating in our scholarship program. 

The team at PEB knows that even the few most financially stable families in the villages cannot afford to pay what it actually costs for PEB to educate their child. So, they charge much less than the actual cost. PEB provides an education to any child, even if they cannot afford it. For some families, even that small, discounted tuition rate is still too much. PEB allows these families in extreme poverty to pay even less, with the hope to cover the educational costs with scholarship sponsors' gifts. This means that PEB relies heavily on outside donations to cover the costs to operate every school.
