Annual School Supply Drive for Students in Need

 

Nevada State Bank colleagues are supporting their local students in need by bringing in school supplies for Communities in Schools of Nevada. Communities in Schools of Nevada serves over 75,000 students in 81 schools across  Clark, Elko, Humboldt and Washoe Counties. Over 80% of the students CIS of Nevada case manages are students of color. Fill the Bus School Supplies Drives are being held statewide to support the local chapters of CISN in Las Vegas, Reno, and Elko this summer. 

 

Drive Dates  

  • Las Vegas: Thru July 15
  • Reno: Thru July 29
  • Elko: July 12-August 16

How to participate:

  • SHOP: All Nevada branches and departments are collecting school supplies during the month. Add a few items on your next shopping run and drop them off before the July deadline for your area.
  • CLICK: To shop the Amazon Wish Lists (Supplies are shipped directly to the CIS affiliate office):
  • DONATE: Colleagues donate $5 (or more) to designated charity for Jean Fridays, a casual attire day which includes work-appropriate jeans and logo attire. Fridays: June 24 - July 29, 2022.
