Goal
We’ve reached a major milestone — now we need your help to finish what our community started.
FC Portland Soccer Academy is building two new turf fields at Quatama Elementary School — creating reliable, year-round space for our players and a shared community resource for Hillsboro.
Project Overview
Total Project Cost: $2,750,000
Raised So Far: $1,871,372
We are proud to have reached our first major milestone — over $1.87M raised by April 1 — and are now moving into the final phase of funding to bring the project to construction.
Why This Project Matters — Right Now
Field access is becoming one of the biggest challenges in youth sports across our region.
Our club has grown 14% in the past two years.
Demand for high-quality field space continues to increase.
Limited access leads to inconsistent training schedules — especially in the spring season.
Just this past weekend, due to field conflicts and limitations with the City of Portland, OYSA was forced to cancel all U9 & U10 games on Sunday April 12, 2026. This is the reality families are already facing — and exactly why this project is so important.
These new fields will provide:
Consistent, year-round training environments.
Reliable scheduling for families.
A central hub for our community to gather.
Momentum Is Building
This project is not just a vision — it is actively moving forward.
Our $50,000 matching campaign generated $92,000 in contributions.
We’ve secured a $100,000 personal loan commitment.
Permitting is progressing with a target of full approval by the end of June.
We are now focused on closing the final funding gap and moving toward construction.
The Final Push
🎯 Remaining Goal: ~$830,000
We are within reach — and this final phase will be driven by a combination of community support, leadership gifts, and strategic funding.
Your Impact
Every contribution helps move this project forward:
$250 → Supports field development materials.
$500 → Contributes to field preparation and infrastructure.
$1,000+ → Helps move us closer to construction readiness.
No matter the size, your support makes a difference.
Be Part of Bringing This to Life
This project is about more than fields — it’s about creating a place where:
Players can train and compete consistently.
Families can plan with confidence.
Our community can come together around the game, events and pick up opportunities.
