Festival Theatre | Name A Seat

Leave your personal mark on Australian theatre history by 'naming' a seat in Festival Theatre.

Please note, Festival Theatre will be closed for renovations from August 2025 until February 2026. All existing seat plaques will be removed, reinstated on new seats, and their terms extended by six months. Plaques purchased during this period will be placed on new seats, with their terms commencing upon the theatre's reopening.

Celebrate your love of theatre, honour a loved one or mark a special occasion in a unique and lasting way by making a tax-deductible donation. In recognition of your generosity, a personalised plaque with your inscription will be affixed to your selected seat. The plaque will remain in place for either 3 years or 25 years:

Individual for 3 years - $1,000 donation
Individual for 25 years - $3,000 donation
Corporate for 25 years - $5,000 donation

Festival Theatre Buy A Seat Terms and Conditions 1. Donations are tax deductible. The engraved plaque on the back of the seat is a recognition of your donation to the Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation Incorporated. 2. The wording of the message on the plaque is subject to approval by the Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation Inc. 3. The message on the plaque must not exceed 50 characters. 4. The plaque will remain in place for either 3 years or 25 years depending on the amount of your donation. 5. Buying a seat is a charitable donation and does not give you legal ownership of the seat or the land on which the seat is located. 6. Buying a seat does not entitle you to admission to performances, or guarantee allocation of that seat when buying tickets for a particular performance.
