Staff Fundraising

I have been passionate about freedom and equality since I was a kid. I've attended protests and written letters my whole life. In 2025, things changed. I saw our nation slipping away from our fundamental values of liberty and justice for all, and I knew I needed to engage in a much bigger way. I joined MPA to be part of an organization with a proven track record of successfully fighting for the rights and freedoms of those who are cast aside and overlooked. It is incredible work being done by some of the best humans I have ever met. While we are Maine based, we work on regional and national causes as a core part of our work. We have been instrumental in getting the ICE hotline up and running, collaborating with our national partners to facilitate resistance to the slide into authoritarianism and fighting for legislation that will protect the rights and freedoms of all people.

Two of our top priorities this year are replacing Senator Susan Collins and Governor Janet Mills with more progressive candidates who will help protect things like reproductive freedom, the rights of the LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities and our elections. Those will be big wins for the whole country. We need your help, and I need your help. If you are able to make a monthly donation, it will allow us to create strategies to protect the rights and freedoms of everyone. Whether it is $10 or $100 a month, every dollar matters to our work.
