Help Feed Our Neighbors in Need
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has donated! Since we launched this campaign, we have provided hundreds of food packages to our neighbors in need, all thanks to your help.
As the pandemic continues to linger, and with jobs and relief still impacted, the need to provide food to our friends and neighbors continues to grow. We would really appreciate your continued support in helping us meet the growing need. Thank you, again.
What We Are Doing
Volunteers from the Rhinebeck Fire Department are working with the well-established Jayne Brooks Food Pantry at the Church of Messiah in Rhinebeck to bring fresh vegetables, dairy, and non-perishable food items to those most in need in our area.
We are delivering food at the Church of the Messiah (6436 Montgomery Street in Rhinebeck) on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
People showing up to receive food will remain anonymous, and we are implementing safeguards to reduce contact between the providers and the recipients. We provide packages of cotton masks to anyone who needs them.
What You Can Do
Help our neighbors in need gain access to food staples, and prevent them from going hungry.
A $20 donation to the Jayne Brooks Food Pantry provides a package of staples to a household of two people*.
