Thank you for visiting the online donation portal for the Jayne Brooks Food Pantry of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck, New York.

For nearly two decades, the Jayne Brooks Food Pantry of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah has stood proudly as an indispensable ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah. Through your generosity, we can fulfill our commitment to the needy families of Dutchess County. We know that the need will never go away, but we also know that by working together, we can make a difference.

On behalf of the leadership and parishioners of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah, and the volunteers of our Jayne Brooks Food Pantry—and especially the families that we serve—thank you for making a gift today. Every penny of your gift goes to the food pantry. Your generosity means that individuals and families who are struggling will have access to nutritious food- and personal-care items, necessities that most of us take for granted.

Will you consider making your gift a recurring monthly donation? Your ongoing support matters now more than ever with the very real threat of cuts in federal and state funding. But we will remain dedicated to our mission, and with your help we will navigate these challenging times to ensure that no family goes hungry.

Thank you again for visiting us and for your generous support!

Your donation to the Jayne Brooks Food Pantry at the Episcopal Church of the Messiah, Rhinebeck, New York, is deductible to the full extent of the law. (Federal Tax ID 14-1490103) No goods or services have been provided in exchange for this contribution.

What We Are Doing

The food pantry distributes food and personal-care items to approximately 70 – 80 households per week using a “choice’ approach, which allows clients to select from a list of our standard non-perishable groceries. We also offer items which vary by week including fresh produce donated by local farmers, dairy products, meat, and non-perishable food items.

We operate every Friday from 10am to 1pm out of the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah, located at 6436 Montgomery Street in Rhinebeck, New York. There is a large parking area between the Church and the Parish Hall.

As of July 2025 we are welcoming our clients into the Parish Hall for some simple hospitality and the chance to give us feedback, receive suggestions for additional resources, or merely to chat with our volunteers.
