Goal

We fully support the decision by both Everton and Liverpool Football Clubs and the Premier League to curtail all football in the weeks ahead.

This leaves us with a massive void that we need to fill, given that approximately 25% of food collected for North Liverpool Foodbank is collected through match day collections at Anfield and Goodison Park.

A contingency plan needs to be clear, concise and simple, so we are urging fans who have supported us so diligently over the past five years to consider making a financial donation direct to the North Liverpool Foodbank via this account, in lieu of their donations at matches.

This will enable us to ensure we meet demand for emergency food as best we can in the coming months.

Depending on the emerging situation, please keep an eye on our social media as we may well be asking for volunteers to meet demand in support of the most vulnerable in our communities.
