Falmouth Road Race 2025

Dear friends and neighbors,

I am so excited to share that Andrew and I are once again running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Medway Village Food Pantry — a cause that’s become incredibly meaningful to us.

Like many Medway residents, we first got to know MVFP during the COVID-19 pandemic, when their food drives and fundraisers played a critical role in supporting local families. Inspired by the work they were doing, we wanted to do more than donate— so Andrew, the kids, and I began volunteering on Saturday mornings, helping with food distribution for the 100+ families that rely on the pantry each week. What we found was a team of dedicated board members and volunteers who show up week after week with compassion, energy, and purpose. Their commitment is truly inspiring, and we feel so fortunate to support their mission.

This year’s road race is extra special: Ben and Emmie are joining us on the 7-mile course — and helping raise $1,500 each! Rather than fundraise individually, we’ve decided to team up and raise the $6,000 total as a family. If you’re able, we’d be so grateful for your support — any amount makes a difference.

 August 17, 2025, 15 amazing volunteers will run the iconic 7-mile course in Falmouth to raise much-needed funds for the Medway Village Food Pantry. All of the money raised will be used to purchase food, diapers, and personal care items. 

The Medway Village Food Pantry has experienced over 200% growth since 2020!  In 2024, we had 23,798 client visits - 71% are families with children. We are run 100% by volunteers, so with the exception of a few, small operating expenses, all of the funds will directly benefit the community and help us keep up with the demand.
