Nov. 1 Participation Award Update: The grammar school grade and upper school house with the highest percentage of students whose families donated to F4F during the campaign won an ice cream party and a spirit wear day with jeans! Funds for Founders (F4F) has launched! Archers Council (AC) is kicking-off the annual F4F campaign Friday, Oct. 18 to raise $125,000 for our school! To provide stability over the years, our policy guides how we invest donations:
Archers Council 2024-25 Priorities: For funds raised from $42k-$100k, we're raising money for the AC committees to offer:
- Archers Support Committee: monthly teacher appreciation events, Grandparents’ Breakfast, grammar school library shelves, upper school teacher lounge furniture, playground beautification, and faculty professional development.
Archers Athletic Booster Club: uniforms, athletic photographer, basketball hoops, need-based scholarships for athletic fees, milestone & state championship banners, Hudl camera & fan engagement website with on-demand streaming and replays, gym and other facility aesthetics, and award banquets.
Fine Arts Booster Club: events such as Valentine’s Dance, Christmas art show, and Orchestra banquet; Fine Arts Showcases; field trips; equipment for orchestra, theater, and art; and storage for supplies.
Senior Events Committee: The senior class gift. With generous support from the Helal family, the most recent senior class gift was an amphitheater in Sherwood Forest.
Founders needs you! We receive $3,000 less per student or $2.2 million less for our school than Leander ISD. We can’t close this gap, but we are making targeted investments to achieve Founders’s mission. Figure 1 shows the amount raised to date. To see amounts, tap on bars or hover over them. Pledged donations are those committed through future recurring donations or donations that are processing from an employer match.
How to Give: The F4F Campaign starts Friday Oct. 18th and ends Friday Nov. 1st. We recommend a donation of $400 per student. Some families will give much more while others will dig deep and give what they can. We are grateful for any donation. You can donate in three ways:
We're Aiming High - Let's Celebrate Along the Way: To celebrate the progress we make on our way to the $125,000 goal, two generous families and the Archers Support Committee will sponsor the following:
For the tour and stipend, we'll select recipients by starting with the 2023-24 teachers of the year, after whom we'll draw individuals at random.
For the Victors, Ice Cream & Spirit Wear (with jeans!) Finally, the grammar school grade & upper school House with highest donor participation percentage will receive an ice cream party and a spirit wear day with jeans!
