Downrange Kilimanjaro - Open House

…over 10 years in Pennsylvania, knowing, and growing spiritually and as a man along with Steve Tolson (Dr. Suess). 

When his invitation to join this mission first landed, it seemed a no-brainer to join him in making a difference in the backyard of my ancestral home; a place close to my heart, and whose people, especially my fellow men, I have long felt called to make a difference in… 

In that, I have prayed long and hard particularly because raising funds is as foreign as Venus, and yes, due to fear of failure. But 1^st because I am created for greatness, and called to serve beyond my strengths; 2^nd having Faith in this mission, and its impacts on communities, and 3^rd the trust we can conquer the physical task. 

As important is to do it with my brother Fred Mandi who has had an amazingly challenging year as a father dealing with the onset of a chronic medical condition for his son Mo Mandi, while having had Kilimanjaro Climb high on his goals for years, it is an opportunity to fortify his will and strength; and to build our family bond while doing good work for many - communities and individuals, because of the call to partner with Design for Hope.
