According to The Vision Detroit Project (2021), Detroit's population (637,601) is at greater risk of avoidable and treatable eye diseases and blindness due to the lack of access to affordable and accessible eye care services; awareness of eye health needs; costs; and transportation barriers. The lack of clear vision is debilitating to many patients as it often exacerbates other physical, mental, and psychological health challenges.

We are pleased to present a comprehensive solution for this very significant issue.

ECFD’s mission is to provide access to high-quality and affordable eye care for Detroit's homebound community (approximately 40,000+ residents) and underserved populations.
