In this Workshop we will be exploring the basic layout and structure of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. We will look at the languages used, those who revealed Bani, the major themes and musical organization of Guru Sahib. Join us as we demystify Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which will allow us to begin to develop a loving and meaningful relationship with the Guru.

Santbir Singh is an avid student of Sikhi. He is currently doing his PhD in Sociology at York University, looking at social activism in Sikhi. He has served as an educator in the Canadian Sikh community for two decades. Santbir’s work focuses on Sikh inspirations for social activism, feminism and human rights through a critical analysis using different schools of thought and tradition. He is a historian and uses accessible platforms to create easily digestible and evidence-based content for young Sikhs. Born in Vancouver, he now lives in Toronto with his wonderful wife and two children.
