Dr. Mohammad Qatanani

Senior Imam & Resident Scholar - ICPC

Dr. Mohammad Qatanani has been the Imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County since 1996. He holds appointments as Professor of Islamic Studies at the Graduate Theological Seminary, Professor at the Islamic American University, and Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Montclair State University where he has been recognized as one of the top teachers in America by “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”

Şehzade Orhan Osmanoğlu

Grandson of Sultan Abdulhamid II

Şehzade Orhan Osmanoğlu is the grandson of Sultan Abdulhamid II, one of the most influential rulers of the late Ottoman Empire. He is widely recognized for his dedication to preserving the history and cultural legacy of his forefathers. Through lectures, public appearances, and community engagements, he offers insight into Ottoman civilization, tradition, and leadership. His work serves as a bridge between past and present, reminding audiences of the enduring relevance of Islamic heritage.

Shaykh Osamah

Imam - ICPC Clifton Campus

Sheikh Osamah Salhia has been the Imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County- Clifton Campus (ICPC Clifton) since 2016 after spending 8 years abroad studying Islamic Law at Al-Azhar University- Faculty of Shari’ah in Cairo, Egypt. He previously served as an Imam in Charlotte, NC. He currently teaches with Manara Institute, Safina Society and Guidance College.At Al-Azhar, he was traditionally trained in the Islamic Sciences receiving Ijazahs and certifications from his teachers.

Shaykh Yasir Fahmy

Resident scholar

Shaykh Yasir Fahmy graduated from Rutgers Business School. After working for a number of years in finance, he then moved to Egypt, where he studied for eight years at Al-Azhar University. In his time at Al-Azhar, he attained numerous ‘ijazas (independent certifications) and studied under many notable teachers, including Shaykh Ahmad Taha Rayyan (may Allah have mercy on him). In 2013, Shaykh Yasir Fahmy became the first American Azhari to teach in the renowned Al-Azhar Mosque. Currently, Shaykh Yasir is the founder of Prophetic Living.

Shaykh Ismail Hamdi

Imam - Masjid Younis

Born and raised in the Tri-State area at the age of 19, Shaykh Ismail Hamdi decided to travel to Egypt to memorize the Quran and learn the Arabic language. Shaykh Ismail ended up staying a full 8 years in Egypt, joining Al-Azhar University in Cairo where he graduated from The Faculty of Shari’ah. He has since returned to serve the community in America as an Imam. He served as an Imam at AMCC in Orlando, F.L. He has recently joined ICPC as the full-time Imam at Masjid Younis in Prospect Park, NJ.

Shaykh Abdelahamid is a dedicated Islamic teacher and Munshed at ICPC.
