Meet our Partners: online panel and Q&A
Wednesday 21 October, 4-5pm UK / 6-7pm Greece, on Zoom
Join us to hear directly from some of the organisations that SolidariTee supports, and to learn about the changing legal context in Greece.
Our speakers include Gina Psylliakou, CEO of Velos Youth, and Maria Marga of Mobile Info Team. They will give an honest window into the work they do, what the recent changes to Greek law mean on the ground, and why working at the local level lets grassroots organisations make a difference that larger bodies often can't. No background knowledge is needed, so this event is a great fit if you are new to the topic.
Local, grassroots NGOs are some of the most powerful drivers of positive change for the people in their communities, yet they are often underfunded and overlooked when we talk about supporting refugees. This is a chance to hear from them directly.
After a short introduction from each speaker, there will be a moderated Q&A. Questions are collected in advance through a separate form, which you will find in your confirmation email.
This event is entirely free. When you register, you can make an optional donation to support the work of the very partners we will be hearing from.
After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email. We are an entirely volunteer team, so please don't worry if anything takes slightly longer to arrive than you expect.
We look forward to seeing you there.
