Join us for an evening with architect Mark Cavagnero and writer Laura Kiniry as they present Mark Cavagnero Architect — a survey of fifteen foundational projects from the San Francisco firm that has spent two decades quietly shaping this city's civic life.
Free to attend — RSVP required to reserve your seat.
Rooted in the Modernist tradition — clean lines, abundant light, open and functional space — Mark Cavagnero Associates has built a design language all its own: interlocking volumes, a disciplined palette of wood and concrete, and a consistent sense of presence that still feels new project to project. From cultural landmarks to schools and recreation centers, the throughline isn't style — it's substance. This book, and this conversation, is a chance to see how that substance gets made.
