Active Explorers 2026
Give your child an active, fun-filled October half term with our Active Explorers programme. Running every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the October half term, each session combines outdoor swimming with exciting nature-based activities in a safe and supervised environment.
Session Details
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Age: 5–11 years (inclusive)
What to Expect
Each session will include an hour in our outdoor pools, supervised by our qualified lifeguards.
Children under 8 years will enjoy the paddling pool.
Children aged 8 years and over who can confidently swim 50 metres will be able to use the main pool.
After the dip in the pools, children will:
Change into dry clothes
Enjoy a snack provided from home
Dry Activities
Take part in a range of fun, engaging activities, which may include:
Halloween themed Arts and craft
Scavenger hunts
Junk modelling
Team games
Autumnal nature activities
And much more!
Collection
Children must be collected promptly at 12:30pm at the end of each session.
Upon booking please make sure you fill in the consent form.
