VOOM Ambassadors Heart and Sole 5k
The Texas A&M VOOM Ambassadors were founded in 2017 with the hope of making a meaningful impact in the world through VOOM Foundation. This year, we reached a huge financial milestone of $100,000 raised for VOOM Foundation since our founding, the equivalent of sponsoring 33 open-heart surgeries. We have also inventoried and packaged thousands of pounds of medical supplies, which has made it possible for VOOM Foundation to perform more surgeries, host health fairs, and develop our education initiatives. Last year, the Ambassadors launched their own educational campaign where we hope to make health literacy more accessible for Nigerians, and soon, hopefully, for our community. We sincerely thank you for your interest in supporting our initiatives!
The 6th annual Heart and Sole will take place on Sunday, November 8th at 9:30AM! The race will start near Polo Garage & Lot 50 on Texas A&M's campus. Free parking will be available in Lot 50, and our check-in tent will be right across the street from this parking lot! Race check-in will begin around 8:15AM and will end at 9:00AM, so that we can begin the race by 9:30AM. All participants will receive their race bib during check-in.
