We're excited to offer another opportunity to gather, connect, and enjoy good food with friends of Kinship Farm at this year's 'A Harvest Graze' event with Chef Rachel Gooding, Founder of Sweetie Pie Culinary. Rachel is a seasoned chef and culinary consultant with a decade of experience in recipe development, catering, and interactive cooking classes.
Join us on Saturday, October 17th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for this special private event featuring locally grown roasted vegetables, appetizers, and an interactivesourdough bread demonstration. Guests will learn about sourdough starters, the different stages of the sourdough process, and dough-folding techniques. Hands-on participation will be available for those who would like to join in.
Each guest will also leave with a jar of sourdough starter (not gluten-free) and Chef Rachel's sourdough cheat sheet, which features the bread recipe and tips & tricks.
Gluten-free crackers will be available. Please be aware that our menu may contain common allergens and attendees may come into contact with them. Kinship Farm and Chef Rachel Gooding cannot guarantee an allergen-free meal. Guests are responsible for determining whether the food is safe for them.
The suggested $60 donation helps support the cost of this gathering and contributes towards Kinship Farm's Harvest Dinner and Relationship Building programs.
If you would like to attend, make a donation, or provide a private donation by check, please contact wendyr@kinshipfarm.org directly. Deadline to attend is October 12.
We hope you'll join us for an afternoon of delicious food, hands-on learning, and meaningful connection as we celebrate the harvest together!
