Whether you’re a seasoned hero or trying out tabletop roleplaying for the first time, Newport News RPG Night is the perfect place to explore new worlds, meet fellow gamers, and share some unforgettable stories.

This fun night features a mix of fantasy, dungeon crawling, board games, and a special opportunity to playtest an adventure alongside its creators! Table sizes vary by game, so choose the adventure that calls to you and reserve your seat—space is limited.

Evan's Table – Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG (Starter Set) — One-Shot
Welcome to Floor 2 of Borant's World Dungeon. Carl, Donut, and the rest of Team Meadow Lark are rushing a group of elderly dungeon survivors to safety when things go sideways—fast. Now the crawlers must fight, scheme, and improvise their way through whatever the dungeon throws at them next, all while millions of viewers watch and the clock keeps ticking.

Evan will be running Par for the Course, the scenario included in the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG Starter Set. Grab one of six pregenerated crawlers—Carl, Donut, Brandon, Chris, Imani, or Yolanda—and find out how far you'll go to get everyone out alive. No experience necessary. (Up to 6 players)

Delta's Table – D&D 5e/5.5 Homebrew, Level 9 — Crawl for The Nine
Nine's Legacy is on the hunt for one of the legendary Nine Artifacts of Yggdrasil: the Flute of the Vanaheim. Their search has led them deep beneath the continent of Drul'Sha, into a particularly dangerous stretch of the Underdark where a mysterious shrine is said to hold their prize.

Players will receive pregenerated homebrew characters and a rulesheet to help them get comfortable with the adventure's mechanics. Once characters have been selected, the party will draft their magic items before descending into the depths. (4–7 players)

Looking for something fast-paced, social, and full of laughs? Pull up a chair at Chuck's table, where a rotating selection of board games keeps the energy high and the competition friendly. Perfect for newcomers and seasoned players alike—just bring your game face. (Up to 12 players)

Artifacts have been stolen from the Tower of London, and your team has been tasked with getting them back. Set against the backdrop of real time, every decision matters. The choices you make could change the world—and failure could spell doom for Britannia.

Each table will accommodate up to five players, who will choose from an assortment of pregenerated characters. Even better, the four Game Masters are the creators of ALERT, giving players a special opportunity to experience the game firsthand with the people behind it.

At the end of the adventure, you'll be invited to share your thoughts and feedback, helping shape the future of the World of ALERT—and you'll be cited as a playtester. (Up to 5 players per table)

Please note: By signing up for an ALERT table, you will be asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Please do not register for one of these tables if you are uncomfortable with that process.
