Our Basic First Aid, Care & Rehabilitation of Wild Birds Course is a full day course comprising both theoretical and practical learning.

Designed for for anyone involved in wildlife rehabilitation, this course has been developed using a combination of evidence-based practice and Vale's 42 years' worth of experience and is delivered in a professional light-hearted learning environment.

The Course Includes:
* Legislation and ethics.
* Capture and handling.
* Basic avian anatomy and physiology.
* Feeding and housing.
* Assessment and first aid.
* Common presenting complaints.
* Practical exercises: crop tubing, injections and wing immobilisation (using cadavers and models).
* Release considerations.

Course Details:
Duration: Full Day (9am - approx. 5pm)
Registration from 8:30am.
Prompt 9am start.
The course includes a completion certificate and course companion handbook.
