Your favorite book-and-beverage pairing comes to North Beach — live.
Join us on Saturday, September 26th at 5:00pm at Telegraph Hill Books for an evening with Britta Stromeyer and Margaux DeRoux, the voices behind Books & Bevs, as they preview the titles they're most excited about this fall. Expect the same warmth, wit, and well-paired recommendations you know from the screen — now in person, in the neighborhood.
Britta Stromeyer is an award-winning children's book author, reader, and connector — and a member of the National Book Critics Circle. A regular presence in the Bay Area literary community, she leads book clubs and writers' retreats and brings that same generous, wide-ranging curiosity to Books & Bevs.
Margaux DeRoux is the author of The Lost Diary of Venice (Penguin Random House), a historical novel weaving art, mystery, and the Renaissance canals of Venice. She grew up in Alaska and brings a storyteller's eye — and an adventurer's range — to everything she reads and recommends.
Free admission. All are welcome.
