Active Explorers 2026

Give your child an active, fun-filled summer with our Active Explorers programme. Running every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer holidays, each session combines outdoor swimming with exciting nature-based activities in a safe and supervised environment.

Session Details

  • Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Age: 5–11 years (inclusive)


What to Expect

Each session begins with time in our outdoor pools, supervised by our qualified lifeguards.

  • Children under 8 years will enjoy the paddling pool.
  • Children aged 8 years and over who can confidently swim 50 metres will be able to use the main pool.


After swimming, children will:

Change into dry clothes
Enjoy a snack provided from home

Dry Activities
Take part in a range of fun, engaging activities, which may include:
  1. Den building
  2. Arts and craft
  3. Scavenger hunts
  4. Junk modelling
  5. Team games
  6. Nature activities
  7. And much more!

Collection

Children must be collected promptly at 12:30pm at the end of each session.
