Losses hurt. Miscarriage, SIDS, illness, accident, suicide or old age. We all experience the pain of loss. We need to heal. Receive some seeds of change as you work through your grief with support by Planting Memories.


Join us as a community to build resilience through grief and loss on a special day to remember and honor those we've lost. August 8, 2026 at 10 am at Rocking Tree Farm. Special recognition of those who served in the military will be observed through the Missing Man ceremonial display. 

Schedule: 
10 am - 10:30 am: check-in/information tables 
10:30 am: Planting Memories Ceremony
11:00 am - noon: Time for reflection and healing as you enjoy the orchard and farm 


Registration: Several options--see below. 
FREE. The person you'd like remembered will be named in the ceremony and a ribbon hung on a tree in the orchard. 
Adopt-a-Tree: $25 - each tree adopted comes with certificate to receive 5 lb of apples each Fall for 5 years. 
Add a tree placard with loved one's name: $25. 
Business Sponsorship: minimum of $100- provide information on business at event, recognized on social media posts and thanked during the ceremony.
