2026 Society of St. Vincent de Paul DeKalb/Sycamore Friends of the Poor Walk
Please join us for our Friends of the Poor Walk through DeKalb's historic district and downtown. Check in begins at 8:30am; Walk starts at 9:30am.
Our 1.25-mile route will begin and end at the St. Mary Church parking lot, follow sidewalks along Fourth St, Lincoln Hwy and First St, and not require crossing any busy streets. Registration is FREE. Donations are greatly appreciated. Early registrants can receive a commemorative Walk tee shirt on the day of the event.

These roles change depending on the scenario:
- An individual makes a ticket purchase for themselves, so the buyer and attendee are the same
- An individual makes a ticket purchase for one or more other people, so the buyer and attendee(s) are not the same
- An individual makes a ticket purchase for themselves and other(s), so they are both the buyer and attendee, in addition to other attendee(s)
