Growing Up in America's Immigration System [Virtual]

Right now, thousands of immigrant children are navigating the U.S. immigration system alone — no lawyer, no translator, no one in their corner. This one hour virtual session brings together an immigration attorney who specializes in juvenile cases, a social worker who has spent years working directly with immigrant children, and SOI's founder who will share current policy making this possible. Together they'll walk you through what's actually happening to kids inside the system, where the law protects them, where it fails them, and the policies driving the current crisis.

You'll leave with:
  • A clear understanding of how immigrant children move through the system
  • The legal pathways that exist for kids and where they break down
  • The policies fueling the current crisis
  • Concrete actions you can take this week

This session is open to educators, social workers, healthcare providers, faith leaders, parents, and anyone who cares about what's happening to immigrant children right now. No policy background needed.

Reserve your spot with a $10 tax deductible donation to Stories of Immigrants. Your gift goes directly to our work standing with our immigrant neighbors, and you'll receive a receipt for your records.
