Welcome to the Bike Rebuild Lab! This hands-on, four-week course is designed to train new volunteer mechanics to rebuild donated bicycles for the community.
Classes take place over four consecutive Thursdays from 6–8 PM. Throughout the program, participants will learn how to fully part out, clean, and rebuild a bike to our giveaway-ready standard. By the end of the course, each attendee will have rebuilt a bicycle that meets SBC’s safety inspection requirements.
In addition to class time, participants are encouraged to attend open shop hours to practice their skills, gain confidence, and work toward becoming certified volunteer mechanics.
Join us to build practical skills, support community access to bikes, and be part of a team that keeps people rolling. Full participation is required.
