The Digital Convergence Agenda: AI, Infrastructure, and Strategic Investment

Artificial intelligence and the development of digital infrastructure are rapidly reshaping economic opportunities. But the benefit of these changes is not automatic. Governments need to react, adapt, and incentivize the growth of these sectors in their countries to avoid missing the wave of advancement. In particular, middle-income countries in Latin America and the Caribbean have a chance to build the digital foundations that will determine the economic trajectory of their countries, and the time to take action is now.

What exactly are the opportunities being presented by the digital and AI revolution? What are the policy conditions, investment structures, and bilateral frameworks that will set countries up for maximum benefit? What kinds of partnerships will allow the Western Hemisphere to become a hub for emerging technology?

Join us for a public conversation featuring executives from leading technology companies, ministers from LAC, and senior U.S. government officials to examine what it will actually take to accelerate digital growth across the region.
