2026 Cycling for Veterans

Saturday, October 17th, 2026
Corner of Raycraft and Route 47 North of Woodstock
Time: Sign in starting at 7:30am. Honor Squad rallies at 8:30 a.m. • All other riders start at 9:00 a.m. 
Open to the public.
22 mile course or 2.2 hike for those who are unable to ride.
Water stations and protein snacks will be available.
Hamburgers & Hot dogs at the end!
75% of donations go to the American Legion of Woodstock Programs and Operations
25% of donations go to Veteran Suicide Prevention

Why We Ride?

• Awareness and Prevention of Veteran Suicide

17 veterans die by suicide every single DAY!  

The human toll of suicide is even greater as it ripples through families and communities.

• Funding to support our Post Home and Programs

Having a home gives veterans a local place to go where trained help, support, hospitality, and hope are in abundance.

How you can support the Mission!

Register to Ride and Raise Funds!

• 10 Veterans will form the Honor Squad, riding for every Veteran who has died by suicide.   The Honor Squad members agree to raise $500 in sponsorship and pay the $40 registration fee. 

• Honor Squad Members receive a patch and jacket. 

Register as an individual.  

 •  $40 Registration fee per Cyclist (includes T shirt).

 •  Form your own Squad of at least 10 riders, 

We ask each rider to try and raise $100 in Pledges.
