Music of the Silver Screen
Join the Master Chorale of Saddleback Valley this June for Songs of the Silver Screen—a lively evening of music inspired by some of the most unforgettable moments in film. From timeless classics to feel-good favorites, this concert brings the magic of the movies to life (no popcorn required… but highly encouraged).
The program features beloved songs including “As Time Goes By,” “Moon River,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and “That’s Amore,” alongside highlights from Sister Act, the carefree fun of “Hakuna Matata,” and the iconic energy of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.” You’ll also hear a beautiful pairing of “Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World” and the nostalgic charm of “Blue Moon”—because no great movie soundtrack is complete without at least one song that gets stuck in your head on the drive home.
In addition to full ensemble performances, the concert will showcase a variety of solos, duets, trios, and small group numbers—giving plenty of singers their moment in the spotlight (and yes, maybe a little main-character energy).
