The Equality Community Center will be directing all donations to support Pink Haven's efforts to provide mutual aid for trans and non-binary folks who are seeking refuge in the current political climate by relocating to Maine.

Recently featured at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, Heightened Scrutiny tells the story of fearless civil rights lawyer Chase Strangio's battle at the Supreme Court for transgender adolescents’ access to gender-affirming healthcare, confronting not only the legal system but also a media landscape that distorts public perception and threatens the struggle for trans rights. With the dangerous SCOTUS decision upholding the ban on life-saving healthcare, HeightenedScrutiny is an urgent call to action against bigotry and injustice.
