We sell tickets to the Open House to cover costs like portable washroom rentals, paying workshop instructors their full fee for the time & expertise they share, visual signage for enhanced accessibility, and water/snacks for volunteers.

We are still a not-for-profit. Any excess funds raised go directly to the chickens and their well-being.

Add-On: Cookbook Stand Workshop (1pm)

This DIY workshop, hosted by Rachelle of Project Pine Designs, will teach the basics of project assembly, measuring, sanding, gluing, and using wood clamps to build their very own cookbook stand. Kids (ages 10+) are welcome, but those under 18 MUST attend with their guardian, who must remain present for the full duration of the workshop.

What’s Included? All materials and supplies.  Guided instruction on how to sand, use wood glue, and use wood clamps. No power tools are used during this workshop.
