Think your brownies are the best in Columbus? It’s time to prove it. Join us for the Columbus Baking Classic, a celebration of passionate home bakers bringing together competition, community, charity, and most importantly baking for one unforgettable day.

This is a capped competition with limited baker spots—your ticket secures your place in the lineup.

What Your Baker Ticket Includes
Official entry into the Columbus Baking Classic, the opportunity to compete for ribbons, prizes and bragging rights, tasting access within the event, eligibility for both Judged Awards and People’s Choice voting, written judge feedback and participation in the awards ceremony, and a place in a growing community of Columbus bakers.

What You’ll Need to Do
By signing up, you are committing to compete in the Brownie Category, prepare and bring your full brownie entry on event day, remain on-site during the event for judging, tasting and awards, and participate as an amateur home baker. We will reach out with next steps!

Brownie Guidelines
To keep the competition fair and focused on the bake itself, brownies may not include layers or frosting on or in the product. Mix-ins and swirls are allowed.

Full timeline, quantity requirements and drop-off details will be shared closer to the event.

Judging & Rubric Overview
Brownies will be evaluated by a panel of experienced judges based on taste, texture and appearance. Attendees will also vote to determine the People’s Choice Winner.

Our Brownie Judges are: Gabby from Sweet Ghost, Kaite from Rose Dough Donuts, and Betsy from Angie's Rainbow Cookies!

Bake for a Cause
All proceeds from the Columbus Baking Classic support Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS Ohio), helping refugees and immigrants build new lives in Central Ohio.

Important Notes:
Baker spots are limited and non-transferable. Each baker must purchase their own ticket to compete. Additional event details and instructions will be sent via email after registration.
