2026 Oregon SATF Comprehensive Prevention Training
Oregon SATF’s Comprehensive Prevention Training is informed by national evidence for effective violence and abuse prevention, as well as Oregon specific best-practice informed by Oregon prevention practitioners and statewide collaborations.
WHAT YOU GET:
Participants in the training will leave better prepared to: Implement/bolster comprehensive effective prevention efforts in their communities, institutions, and schools, and create professional partnerships with other preventionists across Oregon.
All participants will also receive a hard copy of Oregon SATF's Comprehensive Prevention Toolkit (a $12 value).
COST: This training uses a sliding scale to increase accessibility for all people, while still ensuring we can afford to host the training. Please read the following descriptions carefully and select the right funding level for you.
Sliding Scale Levels:
- Sustainer Level ($110): Your organization is supporting your attendance and/or you have the financial resources to support the sustainability of Oregon SATF's prevention programming.
- Connector Level ($80): This discounted registration option is for independent professionals, organizers, freelancers, and activists who are covering the registration cost out of pocket and not an organizational budget.
- Community Level ($50): This discounted registration is reserved for those who meet one or more of the following criteria: Individuals currently underemployed, Youth/ Minors (Under 18 Years Old), Undergraduate students, Community members who experience oppression based on 2 or more identities they hold, and who are not supported to attend by their organization financially.
Registration Fee Waivers: For this training, we are able to provide a registration waiver for a select number of attendees. This is for those that, for whatever reason, are unable to cover the cost of the training at any sliding scale level.
