HSBC, Friends and Family Fundraising Event - Support Young People through the Edale Skyline Challenge
Support Young People through the Edale Skyline Challenge, By taking part, you’re not just completing a challenge—you’re helping to create brighter futures for young people across our community. This summer, HSBC friends and Family supporters will be taking on the Edale Skyline Challenge – a demanding 20-mile high-level trek across some of the most stunning landscapes in the Peak District – to raise funds for Endeavour.
Endeavour supports some of Sheffield’s most vulnerable young people, helping them build confidence, resilience, and practical skills through hands-on, outdoor and experiential learning.
If you have joined the Hike before – why not come back and improve your time , New to long Hikes ? come join us, knowing you have our support at hand . The route takes in iconic peaks including Brown Knoll, Mam Tor, Back Tor, Lose Hill and Win Hill, with over 1,100m of ascent and a typical completion time of around 11-12 hours. It’s a challenging hike in places, Fun and stunning in others you will see views and landscape only visible via the route with a picnic view that stretches miles. Taking Part in the Event
All participants are required to pay a participation registration fee of £10, this covers event insurance, First Aid support off the hill should you require it and checkpoint support (including water refills).
Participants are responsible for their own equipment , meals and transport to and from the event.
