2026 EBLRLA Judicial Excellence & Scholarship Gala
Our 2026 Gala will feature a mariachi during the cocktail hour, followed by a three-course dinner program with our speakers and honorees.
Keynote Speaker & 2026 Distinguished Service Award: State of California Judicial Appointments Secretary Luis A. Céspedes
2026 Community Champion Award: Hijas del Campo (Daughters of the Field)
2026 Judicial Excellence Award: Alameda County Superior Court Assistant Presiding Judge Lupe C. Garcia
We will also honor the 2026 EBLRLA Scholarship recipients, the next generation of Latinx attorneys who will represent and fight for our community. Our Gala is our primary fundraising event for these annual scholarships. In 2025, the Fund awarded a record $40,000 to graduating law students for bar exam expenses and continuing law students for public interest summer employment.
Please consider becoming a Gala sponsor! Sponsorships range from $1,000 to $10,000; more details on our 2026 EBLRLA Gala Sponsorship Form (also posted on www.eblrla.org/gala). If you are interested in sponsoring our Gala, please email eblarazalawyers@gmail.com.
