2026 UVNR "Around the World in 5K"

Join United Voices for Newcomer Rights (UVNR), a community-led nonprofit organization based in Albuquerque, for our annual “Around the World in 5K” Run/Walk Fundraiser. UVNR works alongside refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers, and other newcomers to improve access to resources, strengthen community connections, and support long-term well-being.

This event is more than a run! It is a collective effort to build a more welcoming and inclusive community. Participants will come together to celebrate the diverse cultures, strengths, and resilience that newcomers bring to Albuquerque. Enjoy cultural crafts, community activities, and exciting raffle prizes, including K-beauty items and other gifts available throughout the event.

By participating, you are directly supporting programs that address critical needs in the newcomer community. Funds raised help expand access to resources, empower youth through leadership development, strengthen family stability, and promote economic opportunities and community integration. Your involvement helps reduce barriers such as language access, social isolation, and limited access to essential services—creating pathways for newcomers to fully participate and thrive.
