POP Summer Camp Week 2 (June 22-26)

Pend Oreille Pedalers’ Summer Camps are the perfect way for youth riders (ages 7-12) to build skills, confidence, and trail awareness in a fun, supportive environment. Designed for a range of ability levels—from newer riders to those ready to progress—the camps focus on fundamental bike handling, skill development, and safe riding practices.

Gear Requirements:

To ensure rider safety, the following items are mandatory for all participants:

  • A well-fitting bike helmet (must be worn at all times while riding)

  • A properly sized mountain bike in safe, working condition (brakes, tires, gears)

  • Closed-toed shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)

  • Water bottle or hydration pack

  • Snacks

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)

  • Optional but encouraged: bike gloves, eye protection, knee/elbow pads

A pre-camp bike safety check is highly encouraged. We can recommend local shops for tune-ups.

Riders will spend time on both skills-based drills and guided trail rides, helping them apply what they learn in real trail settings. Our goal is simple: help kids fall in love with riding while building strong, confident riders. Groups will be based on age and skill level with parent sign up and flexible with the coaches discretion.

At POP, we’re big believers in building the engine before hitting the gas. Our coaches focus on solid fundamentals, smart riding habits, and confidence on the bike so kids develop skills that truly stick.
