A Taste of Syria: Community Meal Event

Travel the world without leaving the Flathead Valley! Join Valley Neighbors for the return of our popular “pay what you want” fundraiser meals on Friday, April 24, 2026, in Kalispell. Enjoy an evening dedicated to cultural exchange, connection, and compassion.

The menu prepared by a local Syrian chef will feature Ouzi, a fragrant spiced rice dish served with peas and slivered almonds and topped with chicken thighs; Khyar Bi Laban, a refreshing cucumber and yogurt salad; and a Syrian-style chopped salad. (Menu subject to change.)

As we share a delicious meal, guests will hear the stories of some of our immigrant neighbors—an opportunity to deepen understanding and strengthen connections within our community.
