Fentanyl. Open drug use. Rampant theft. Seniors, workers, and families all worry. Small businesses absorb losses without consequence. Everyone suffers.
The Ottawa Centre Conservative EDA is convening the first in a quarterly series of civic fireside conversations to address urgent local challenges with seriousness and clarity.
This inaugural discussion focuses squarely on:
• The real-world impact of fentanyl on families, seniors, and neighbourhood businesses
• Why current “safe supply” and permissive drug policies are failing to deliver recovery or safety
• How organized trafficking networks continue to operate while communities absorb the damage
• What a Conservative approach to enforcement, recovery, and public order would do differently
This is not a rally.
This is not a protest.
It is a moderated civic discussion bringing together Conservative members and respected local community voices to examine what has gone wrong — and what must change.
Why Attend?
Street safety is not ideological.
It is foundational.
Compassion without recovery fails people struggling with addiction.
Compassion without order fails communities trying to hold together.
If you are concerned about the direction of Ottawa Centre — whether you are Conservative, undecided, or simply seeking serious conversation — you are welcome.
