A Seattle supergroup comprising members of "Awesome", The Rallies, and The Half Brothers, Jed Zeppelin's acoustic take on Led Zeppelin's classic catalog is a breath of fresh air. Using traditional bluegrass instrumentation, the group has reforged the Hammer of the Gods with a high, lonesome sound to create something unique, foot-stomping, and fun. Expect harmonies, banjo solos, and a healthy heapin' helpin' of Tolkien references that will make you sweat and make you groove.
Jose Bold / John Osebold has made music and theatre in Seattle since 1995, notably with his band "Awesome", sketch comedy group The Habit, and under his stage moniker Jose Bold. His work ranges from a dystopian speed musical (Ballyhoo) to a remixed stock footage movie with live band (MOUNTAIN) to a Spider-Man musical that ran off-Broadway near Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark in New York (Spidermann). In 2020, he taught himself digital 2D animation and made a number of animated shorts that appeared in film festivals in Seattle, Tacoma, San Francisco, and Walla Walla, and created a half hour special in 2022 (December Special). He has made a new album every December since 2004 which he posts on his Bandcamp site.
