Calling all local children’s authors!
Richland County Public Education Partners (RCPEP) is excited to host our second annual Literacy Leap: Local Author Read & Meet Book Fair—and we want you to be part of it.
After welcoming 189 attendees last year, this free, family-friendly event returns to the R2i2 Conference Center with the same energy, same mission, and even more opportunity to connect with young readers and families across the Midlands.
This event celebrates the joy of reading while spotlighting local children’s authors and helping families build home libraries—especially as we work together to combat the summer slide.

📍 Location: R2i2 Conference Center
📅 Date: Saturday, May 30
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Vendors asked to arrive at 8:00am)
💲 Vendor Registration Fee: $50
💡 Book Pricing Guideline (not mandatory): $15 or less per book to ensure affordability
