We are thrilled to celebrate the completion of our newly renovated senior housing at Trinity Commons! Please joins us for an afternoon of celebration, mission, and community. This FREE event has been graciously sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners.
Trinity Unveiled is designed to fit your schedule - stop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole event!
4:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.: Welcome and ribbon cutting ceremony.
4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Self-guided tour of new residences.
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Exclusive screening of "No Place to Grow Old" followed by a community conservation on senior homelessness.
Stock the Shelves:
In the spirit of a true housewarming, we welcome donations of senior-friendly cleaning supplies. Many seniors arriving at Trinity are starting over with very little; this supplies ensures they can take pride in their new space from day one. We strongly encourage items that are easy-open, scent free, and compact in size.
About “No Place to Grow Old”:
“No Place to Grow Old” captures a growing crisis unfolding quietly across America: the increasing number of seniors facing homelessness. Set in Portland, Oregon, this poignant documentary follows the lives of three older adults navigating the harsh realities of life without a home. Through their stories of hardship and resilience, the film offers an intimate portrayal of the challenges they face, while also shining a light on the systemic issues contributing to their plight. Featuring insights from local and national experts, “No Place to Grow Old” is a powerful call to action that emphasizes dignity and hope, envisioning a future where everyone, regardless of age, has a safe and secure place to call home.
