TSHP PAC St. Patrick's Day Fundraiser

Join us for a spirited St. Patrick's Day fundraiser supporting the TSHP PAC! Dr. Curtis Petty, world-renowned mixologist and PharmD, will talk us through his recipes for mocktails and cocktails. Recipes will be provided to all participants before the event.

Cost: $10 registration. Additional PAC donations are encouraged during the event!

  1. In person - Participating local chapters will hold live in-person events. Drinks and treats will be provided! Local chapters will provide registrants with event details soon! (Chapters with in-person events: El Paso Area (EPASHP), Gulf Coast/Houston Area.
  2. Virtual – Join us virtually via Zoom from the comfort of home. NOTE: Virtual attendees are responsible for procuring their own supplies; recipes will be provided prior to the event. 
What Will We Be Mixing Up?
 
Shamrock Punch 
The Shamrock Punch is the kind of green elixir that makes pharmacists everywhere nod approvingly—finally, a “prescription” they can recommend without checking drug interactions. It starts with a fizzy dose of Jones Green Apple Soda, followed by a precise half‑ounce of lime juice, because accuracy matters (and yes, someone will measure in metrics). A soothing splash of ginger beer and simple syrup rounds it out, creating a concoction so refreshingly green it could qualify as an over‑the‑counter mood booster. Garnish with a lime wedge for “vitamin C purposes,” stir gently like you’re compounding a magical potion, and enjoy a mocktail that’s guaranteed to raise spirits—no prior authorization required. 

U-drop Inn
It starts with a generous splash of your favorite bourbon, followed by a silky wave of Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda—basically dessert in fizz form. Two dashes of Angostura bitters jump in like tiny flavor ninjas, balancing out all that sweetness so you can still pretend this is a sophisticated drink for pharmacists. Crown it with a Luxardo cherry, the royalty of cocktail garnishes, and suddenly you’re sipping something that tastes like freedom!

Route 66
You've finally made it to Route 66 with a kind of drink that makes you feel like you’re cruising down a two lane road in the middle of America even if you’re actually just leaning on your kitchen counter questioning your life choices. It kicks off with a bold splash of Tito’s vodka—local and always within arm's reach—followed by a bright hit of lemon juice that reminds you tomorrow's a workday. But all those negative thoughts disappear when a smooth slide of grenadine sneaks in. Enjoy the ride!
