Quaint Victorian Holiday at Rengstorff House (feat. Lyric Theatre Victorian Carolers & The Museum of American Heritage)
[Updated] Catch the charm of the season with Victorian-style entertainment featuring the Lyric Theatre Victorian Carolers, a special exhibit on "Magic and Mysticism of the Victorian Era" presented by The Museum of American Heritage, a keepsake and history mini-workshop, holiday tours, and more!

Festivities & other highlights
Caroling - 1:15 -2:15 PM (performed in three parts)
Meet costumed docents offering historical commentary and scheduled holiday tours.
Join our crafts docents for Victorian-inspired keepsakes as you learn about the handmade decorating traditions of the era. Crafts are suitable for adults as well as children.
Listen to a dramatic reading as was traditional during the era.
You are also welcome to take a self-guided history tour and enjoy the decorated interiors at your own pace.
Should you wish to do so, guests are welcome to join us in Victorian (or Edwardian-inspired) garb. Please note that hoop skirts are not recommended due to interior space constraints.

Holiday Swag Shop
Fresh holly and juniper-based swag will be sold on the large patio. Ornaments and history books will also be available.
Donations
Donations, admission fees, and swag sales help support the maintenance of the Friends of "R" House museum collection, holiday decorations, and future special program offerings at the Rengstoff House.
