A Unique Place In Time: Revisiting The Science Place

Step back in time with us for the very first Science Place Foundation historic exhibition! Come see original Science Place exhibits, meet former Science Place staff members, enjoy food (for purchase, provided by Taco Y Vino) and complimentary wine in an exciting historic building in downtown Garland for one night only!

Over 100 historic objects will be on display, including original Science Place exhibits, the cockpit of the MacCready Gossamer Penguin, and the original Fair Park Planetarium projectors! Don't miss the electrifying special feature, THE ELECTRIC THEATER tribute show, and Odd McFeemy's "FACE YOUR FEARS"!

This is a family friendly event, but we ask that any young children be under close adult supervision at all times. Dress code is casual, though guests are encouraged to dress appropriately: clothing featuring offensive language or images, political messaging, or other similarly disruptive content will not be allowed to enter the event.

Attendees with electronic medical implants such as, but not limited to, pacemakers, cochlear implants, neuro-stimulators, and insulin pumps are advised to leave the venue before the high voltage performance, which will take place during the last half hour of the event. Announcements will be made at regular intervals to indicate this during the event.
