Wash The City: Colfax Ave Tri-City Cleanup
Join us for a powerful day of service and washing the feet of our local community. Wash the City will be an unprecedented tri-city project that will enhance the safety and health of local neighborhoods. #BeTheIron and forge a stronger community, one block at a time.
Iron Sharp is joining forces with Denver, Aurora, and Lakewood Police Departments to cover multiple miles along Colfax Avenue to clean up trash, debris, as well as serve those in need. We will conclude the day by bringing together community partners, volunteers, and law enforcement agencies for a free community barbecue complete with positive music DJ.
Event agenda:
9:30am Volunteer teams meet at respective locations (Denver, Aurora: Aroma Café, Lakewood)
10:00am Volunteer teams and law enforcement partners start cleanup and community outreach
2:00pm Volunteer teams return to initial meetup locations to return cleanup equipment
3:00pm FREE community BBQ with uplifting DJ @ TBD Denver
