NRADAN Rural Impact Series: When You Are the Face of an Organization

Join us for a dynamic one-hour conversation exploring what it means to represent a mission with authenticity, vulnerability, and purpose. This Rural Impact Series session features Father Jim Swarthout, a seasoned counselor and spiritual leader with over 35 years of experience in mental health and addiction recovery, and Tom Farley, author, advocate, and recovery professional whose work blends humor, connection, and hope. Together, they’ll share powerful stories and practical insights on leading from the heart, maintaining personal well-being, and staying true to one’s values while serving as the visible voice of an organization. Presented in partnership with NRADAN, Inc. (National Rural Alcohol & Drug Abuse Network), this session offers inspiration and guidance for anyone whose work calls them to lead, represent, and connect.

*This session qualifies for NAADAC continuing education credit. Donations are welcome. A suggested amount is $25.
