November 14 Round-the-Table Shabbat Family Service with Cantor Richard and Catered Dinner
Kol HaEmek is pleased to invite you to another Family Shabbat Service and Round-the-Table catered Shabbat dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity for members of the inland Jewish community to experience a service led by Cantor Richard, to enjoy a delicious catered meal, to share Shabbat blessings and songs, and to connect with community. All are invited to this joyous occasion, with a special invitation for families with children. We'll gather at 6pm for a children-oriented service of songs and blessings.
The service will be led by Cantor Richard.
Asian Fusion cuisine catered by Amita Garden Cafe will follow the service. Amita Garden strives to use only the best, organically grown ingredients. (95% organic) RSVPs ARE REQUIRED.
You'll notice that when you RSVP that you have the option to make a financial donation towards the meal, suggested at $4/$9 (children/adults) to $54 per person.
You will see a free option at the bottom of the ticketing list. This is for people who want to bring cash or check (made out to Kol HaEmek) to the shul. If you have questions, please email janae.k.stephens@gmail.com or text her at 707-354-2035.
These catered dinners have been inspired and initially financed by an incredible gift from Norm and Karen Rosen, and over the last couple years, we have found that these catered meals are greatly enlivening our community.
The funds from the Rosen's gift have been used and we hope everyone will be as generous as possible when purchasing tickets. The cost per person for these dinners is approximately $20 per person and the Shul receives 91.5% of the ticket prices; since some people cannot afford the full amount, if you can pay more, please do. By accepting donations, we hope to be able to continue this tradition throughout the year. All are welcome to the services, regardless of ability to financially contribute. Please contribute to attend the meal.
